Sabian APX Cymbals
Mega Music is proud to feature for the month of May the latest in cymbal technology from our good friends at Sabian.
The fast, super-bright response of the APX Series means these little rippers are loaded with robust, high-pitched cutting power that blows through the turgid, dropped D fuzz of your muscular guitar hero out front. For any metal player worth his salt, there is now a cymbal to match you pound for pound in agression and sheer dynamic in ya face, no holds barred, ear-shattering volume!
To create this intensity, Sabian introduced new production processes that also result in a unique appearance for these cymbals...but apparently it's all very hush hush. Featuring a 'High-Decibel' design, APX are intensely-focused in their dynamics, with bright and loud sound, destined to make the difference between your drums sounding pretty good and your drumming sounding awesome.
Top drummers already playing APX include Ray Luzier (Korn), Neil Sanderson (Three Days Grace), George Kollias (Nile), John Kelly (Type-O Negative), and Rich Beddoe (Finger Eleven).
The new Sabian APX cymbals will be available in sets and individually and they come in two variations: the "Solid" version, for a dramatic and explosive sound and "Sonically Matched" sets for a perfect sonic coherence. While these standard cymbals will come as 14" hats,16" crash, 20" ride or 14" hats, 18" crash, 22" ride sets, an Effects Pack will also be available, containing a 10" splash and an 18" Chinese.
