Experience: Grant has been playing guitar for approximately 12 years and Bass for 5 years. He has been teaching for 6 years and has taught at schools & Rockband Academy.

Notable Bands/Gigs: A member of Hyte (orignal band) and was a member of the Top High School Rock Band in '06

Jamie Searle

Instrument: Guitar/Bass

Style:  Rock, Funk, Classical, Blues, Reggae, African, Pop

Experience: Jamie has been playing guitar for 25 years and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Music) Honors Degree

Notable Bands/Gigs: Jamie has played support gigs for the following acts; Fat Freddy's Drop, Xaner Rudd, Cat Empire, Byron Bay Blues Festival (twice), Grace Barbe, Odette Mercy 2 Her Soul Atomics and many more.

Tony Annese

Instrument: Guitar/Bass

Style:  All styles and levels bass to intermediate. Rock/Blues/Funk specialist.

Experience: Tony has been playing guitar for 35 years and teaching for 9 years. He has taught at Leederville Tafe and has an Advanced Diploma in Music (NMIT) and a  Bachelor of Performing Arts (WAAPA). He has 30+ years stage experience.

Notable Bands/Gigs: Tony has played with members from Diesel, Bad Loves, Hunters & Collectors and supported Deboro Byrne, Ross Honoford and shared the stage with Johnny Young.

Instrument: Guitars

Style:  Rock, Blues, Reggae, Funk from Intermediate to Advanced.

Experience: Brendan has been playing for 9 years and has taught for 6 1/2 years at schools, the Academy and private lessons.

Steve Snowden

Instrument: Piano

Levels:  Grades to A Mus A

Experience: Steve has been playing piano for 38 years and teaching for 32 years. 

Qualifications: Steve is a WAAPA Graduate (Classical & Popular) and holds a Bachelor of Arts, Diploma of Music Teaching and is a Nationally Accredited Theory instructor.

Agnieszka Michalak

Instrument: Piano/Keyboards

Levels:  Beginner. Agnieszka has a strong focus on helping students to be capable of thinking critically  about music which in turn can allow them to "teach" themselves.

Experience: Agnieszka has been playing piano since she was 5 and has been teaching for the last 3 1/2 years. 

Qualifications: Agnieszka has completed her 4th Grade AMEB

Tony Fox-Slater

Instrument: Piano/Keyboards

Experience: Tony has been playing for a very long time!

Qualifications: Tony has a Bachelor of Education (Curtin University), TAA Challenges and Royal School of Music Grade VI

Stephanie Ryan

Instrument: Vocals

Styles: Contemporary (Rock, Pop, RnB etc)

Experience:Stephanie has 10 years experience and has been teaching for 3 years. She has also learnt to play guitar, drums & keys.

Qualifications: Stephanie has a Certificate IV in Contemporary Performance and is currently studying Advanced Diploma Contemporary Performance at WAAPA.

Notable Bands/Gigs: Stephanie performs with "Archer & Light" (local indie/pop band) and also sings at Weddings and functions.

Christian Gebauer

Instrument: Drums

Styles: All genres, specialising in heavy metal and rock. Christian connects well with kids!

Experience:Christian has 6 years experience and has been teaching for 3 years.

Qualifications: Christian has completed a Contemporary Music Course at WAAPA

Notable Bands/Gigs: Christian has played with Sensory Amusia, Arturo Chaos and Joe Graham Band.
