Jason Smith

"Smith" as we refer to him, has been with Mega since before the doors opened. He is one of the most integrous people I know and his work ethic is second to none. His knowledge of all things musical is like no one I've met, in fact it's freakish. Coupled with the fact that he is an amazing guitar player, here is a guy every employer wished he had 10 of.

Darren Versaico

Daz has worked for Mega now for over 8 years. You will not find a more passionate guy when it comes to drums and all things cymbals. I have played and sold drums for over 21 years and never have I met anyone with the knowledge base that Darren has. He will always put the customer's needs first and nothing is ever too difficult for this man. It is truly a blessing to have him on our team.

John Cox

John has been with Mega for over 5 years. He is a man whose versatility is astounding. An amazing drummer, he also oversees our PA department and is a keen studio guy. He is very particular about ensuring that his customers are served well and is always prepared to ensure that the advise you receive is the advice you need.

If there are questions you have in regards to PA or drums (particularly regarding electronic gear) he is your man. John is available at the Myaree store.

Rory Danker

Rory is one of those guys that KNOWS what he's talking about.. He's a second generation muso with his dad being a successful musician in his own right. Rory is the guy that has his finger on the pulse of what's going on 'out there' in the great big land of gigs! Currently playing with 'Everlong', Rory is a great addition to the team, and always makes us laugh.

Gabriel Schlotjes

Hailing from New Zealand, Gabriel has great experience in the music industry, particularly on the studio side of things having previously run his own audio production business. It's great to have found a tech guy that is also down to earth and whose advice is practical and applicable. We are seeing great results in the time Gabes has been with us and this is definitely reflected through customers comments.

Arunachala Satgunasingam (Arun)

This guy is one of the best percussion players around and is one of the nicest guys to boot. Arun has just returned to WA after being based in Melbourne. He has been a part of Mega since it started, you can catch him at the Wangara store.

Justin Hawkins

Justin is a tremendous find. This guys work ethic is second to none and his knowledge and experience are huge. He has done a great job building the profile of our Wangara store and is available and willing to help. His focus on customer relationships is quickly seeing him build a huge following.

Mike Lyon

Mike is our Tassie devil... he's a whirlwind of energy and rainbows. seriously though, Mike is THAT guy that will go the extra step to make the customer happy. With an advanced diploma of music under his belt, he knows his stuff too.. with his knowledge of music second only to his knowledge of products. If you can find him in-store (I'm pretty sure I've seen him at both ends of the store at the same time) have a chat to our mate Mike.

Josh Tucker

Josh is the son of one of my best mates. He has inherited his dad's great work ethic and is doing a tremendous job. The place is the most organised it has ever been. this young man is showing huge potential and is displaying maturity way beyond his years.

Tristan Mastropasqua

Tristan has come on board as our resident bass expert. In his time with us so far, Tristan has shown a great sense of service to customers coming into the store. He will go the extra mile to find info, follow up questions and make sure his customers have a great experience at Mega Music.

Craig Tucker

Craig brings a wealth of experience to the Mega Music PA department, having years of experience in sound production for events of all sizes as well as an amazing knowledge of PA equipment and how to get the best from it. Craig is the kind of guy who will genuinely get to know you and your needs in order to recommend the best solution rather than just selling you something and shoving you out the door. His knowledge of the gear as someone who has actually used it, means he can advise on getting the best from what you budget allows.
