The 22" AA El Sabor Prototype came about from guys wanting their rides to be more like massive crashes for those big choruses, but still wanting enough control over the bow and a massive bell sound. Not an easy task to make but Sabian and i got to it with a blank with a Solid bell and simmering ride response combined with hot crash/accent capability. The flat-flanged edge contributes a touch of 'bite' to the bright tone of this model, for a sound that is crisp and light, yet controlled.
