Beginner Keyboards

The first thing to understand if you are starting out in keyboards or piano is that there are three main types of keyed instruments:

1) Digital Pianos

88 key instruments that look, sound and feel much like a real piano (without the massive cost). The choice of anyone serious about piano playing.

2) Stage Pianos

These are more portable and designed to be played live on stage and have a wide range of professional sounds.

3) Keyboards (Portable)

These cover more compact and portable keyboards, often with 25, 49 or 61 keys. They are perfect for beginners as they are affordable, have fun features like rhythms, microphones and teaching aids.
